Full Charge Bookkeeper with Payroll Experience

Position Details:

The Full Charge Bookkeeper assists in overseeing the management and reporting of financial data and ensuring compliance with financial reporting procedures for the organization. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also manage the payroll function.  

Job Description:

The Full Charge Bookkeeper responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage client and vendor invoicing

  • Calculate, review and report sales commission payments

  • Manage the payroll function for W2 employees and 1099 contractors

  • Manage state registration requirements

  • Gather year-end tax documents

  • Assist with general accounting responsibilities

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in general accounting required

  • Familiar with various payroll processing companies – Paylocity a plus

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (QuickBooks) required

  • Proficient in Excel and all Microsoft Office programs 

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently 

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Associate or BS in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree is a plus

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: Salaried position; $60,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience
