Sr QA Software Engineer

Position Details:

We are looking for a passionate QA software engineer who is experienced with the full Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), change management, and modern tools and pipelines.

Job Description:

As part of our championship team, your core responsibilities will be to:

  • Create, migrate, and maintain new features following ATDD and BDD methodology

  • Show creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage, reliability and effectiveness

  • Reinforce development best practices for quality assurance, security, and deployment

  • Instill and drive a delivery-focused culture while promoting a fun hardworking workplace

  • Defining relevant processes and proposing methods, tools and measures to improving automated and manual QA


  • BSc Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar

  • 7+ years experience deploying and maintaining scalable systems in production

  • 5+ years working with modern automation testing technologies such as Cypress, Appium, Jest, BrowserStack, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin

  • 5+ years working with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular,, SCSS

  • Strong experience in defining and implementing test pyramids  

  • Strong experience applying component driven development (e.g. via Storybook)

  • Strong experience in JavaScript (TypeScript), and ideally Python

  • Strong experience profiling non-functional testing (performance, resilience, and security)

  • Experience in several testing frameworks and tools such as Swagger, Jest, and Cypress

  • Experience in continuous integration tools such as CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket pipelines

  • Experience in backlog management, code reviews, pull-requests, paired programming

  • Experience in writing user stories with Product Managers which covers all test criteria

  • Experience in a cloud provider such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure

Desired Skills:

  • Strong experience in mobile testing such as Appium, Java, Espresso

  • Experience in medical standards such as FHIR and HIPAA

Location: Phoenix office (2999 N 44th St # 650), with a flexible approach to remote work.
